ACCOMPANIST
Thomas Kelsey BA(Hons) DipABRSM
Tom began playing the keyboard and piano at age 7 and worked his way through the ABRSM grades, gaining a diploma in performance in 2009. A year later he began a music degree at the University of Southampton, studying piano performance under David Owen Norris.
After graduating with a First-class degree he began a career as a freelance musician. As a soloist he has performed at a wide variety of events across the South of England, including weddings, christenings, private parties and charity events. As an accompanist he has worked with soloists, accompanying them for graded exams, recitals and concerts. He has also worked with local school choirs and accompanied amateur dramatic productions. At present he is one of the accompanists for Fleet based choir Hart Voices.
In his spare time Tom enjoys walking and cycling around Fleet Pond and the surrounding area, cooking and recording himself playing the piano for his YouTube channel. If you would like to find out more about Tom, then take a look at his website and social media.
