As some of you may already know, I completed the 'London Marathon My Way' yesterday. I was worried that it would be too warm, however it was not, and I was pleased with a time 4hr 35mins 7secs.

With 'online' and sponsorship donations I have now passed the £1000 mark for the work of Prostate Cancer UK (even before claiming gift aid), and I would like to thank the great generosity of the choir members for their contribution towards this sum. 

If you would like to contribute to this sum, I will still have sponsorship forms, or you can donate through my 'giving page'.

As this year is the 80th anniversary of VE day our chosen charity is the 'Commonwealth War Graves Foundation'.

If anyone has any links with VE80 please let John Abson (B1) know.

Ronan McCaughey will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on 4 Oct - to raise money for Princess Alice Hospice - and he is asking for donations.
He wants to raise at least £500 for Princess Alice Hospice.
