We are proud to say that our Summer Concert was extremely well received and supported.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all. With special thanks to eminent guest tenor, Charne Rochford, for a memorable and stunning performance, and also to our audience for their appreciation and support. Some of the feedback we’ve received:-

“My friends and I have been coming to WMVC local concerts for many years and we all thought that last night’s performance was the brightest and best so far.

The wide variety of songs, the quality of the singing – not forgetting the acting – and the wonderful sense of fun was infectious.  Sitting near the front last night, which we are not usually fortunate enough to do, enabled us to truly appreciate Tom’s piano playing.  It was a nice touch to have one of the members play guitar. 

Your energy and enthusiasm have always been visible from a distance and I can well believe the phrase in your profile that your choirs are ‘some of the happiest choirs in Surrey.’  Keep up the good work!

The privilege of having Charne Rochford join as a soloist was not lost on us.  The depth, the range and the power of his voice was breath-taking – our thanks to you, Mr. Rochford Snr and whoever else was responsible for getting him there!”

It was the choir’s particular pleasure and privilege to support the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation in the excellent work they do.

Our next performance at St James’ will be our Christmas Concert, so very popular with our regular audiences, scheduled to take place on Friday 12th December. Availability of tickets will be announced nearer the time so watch this space.

The Choir’s repertoire is constantly evolving and we can promise performances of new and exciting additions as well as popular favourites in the coming months.

Held at 8pm every Tuesday at St James Parish Centre, Weybridge, you’ll be made very welcome.

There are no auditions, you just need to enjoy singing and the company of like minded colleagues.
