Johnny Kilhams
Jonathan Kilhams is a highly regarded choral conductor whose musical journey began as a chorister at Chichester Cathedral. He later held a choral scholarship at Royal Holloway University of London, singing with the Chapel Choir, recording extensively for the Hyperion label, touring internationally and performing as a soloist on British, American and Estonian radio. He has performed for Charles, Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cambridge, and in major venues including the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.
Jonathan graduated with the highest mark ever awarded to a choral conducting student at Royal Holloway and has since built a successful conducting career across London and Surrey. Known for his energy and passion for choral music, he believes strongly in singing as a powerful force for connection and community. Alongside his work with adult choirs, he is Head of Music at Cleves School in Surrey and founder of the Elmbridge School Choirs Festival, bringing together hundreds of young singers each year.
